Have a nascent knee problem? Make sure you’re not “favoring”  the knee. In doing so, you weaken the entire column and end up making the knee do work it’s not supposed to be doing. Rather, make sure your mighty thigh and femur (the largest bone in your body) are fully supporting you, bearing weight while the knee articulates the column of your leg and fully transfers the force of gravity upward. Now, of course, if your knee issues are greater than mine, you will need the advice and treatment of a qualified professional. But if your knees are like mine, thinking of the support of the femur and letting the knee do it’s job, is sufficient to remedy low-level pain at the knee.  Let your thigh fill out, cherish it’s full dimension and let me know how that feels, a technology of the self.
