You’re lying in bed thinking about getting up and thinking some more. Suddenly, you’re up and on your feet, quickly and without effort. How does that happen? Your thinking tuned and toned your muscles for action. It was as much mental as physical, and more importantly, a model for all your action. If you chose just one action to apply this principle, reaching for a stapler or a fork, bringing your hands to the keyboard of a computer or a piano, it would change your day. You might even be enlightened, awakened to the idea your body delights in mindfulness, and your mind in embodied-ness.It’s a Gestalt.
